Putting Portergate in the picture
Salford student accommodation provider Portergate’s new £18 million Riverside House is to feature in a new film highlighting its successful opening.
A crew from Cheshire-based Global Filmmakers has been filming at the hotel-class, purpose-built development which contains 242 luxury en-suite student rooms.
Their film will be used to promote Portergate and Riverside House, its acclaimed debut property, which is on course to be recognised as the number one location for UK and overseas students in Salford.
Once completed, the film will be launched on Portergate and Riverside House’s websites and on YouTube.
The film is part of the continued marketing of Portergate and Riverside House following its smooth launch at the start of the academic year.
It will highlight the quality Portergate brings to its developments and the facilities students have access to once they move in.
Riverside House apartments include a fully-furnished living space and fitted kitchen complete with high-quality appliances. En-suite bedrooms are also fully furnished and have dedicated broadband internet.
The attractive riverside location midway between the University of Salford and the heart of Manchester, the UK’s second city, is attracting enquiries from students studying in both Salford and the universities in Manchester.
It is set in its own landscaped gardens on the River Irwell and has been built to be the landmark building as the Broughton Bridge crosses the river onto Blackfriars Road.
It is walking distance from the University of Salford campus, Manchester city centre and Salford Central train station and the vibrant cafes and bars of Manchester’s Cathedral Quarter and Deansgate are also within a 15 minute walk or a short bus journey.
Security and service are paramount at Riverside House and students benefit from a day time House Manager, 24-hour concierge and on-site maintenance. For personal security, each floor and all rooms are accessed by swipe card.
Demand for the accommodation from UK and overseas students has been high and Portergate says the promotional video will continue to send the message out globally as part of its successful multi-media approach to marketing.
Anthony Jackson says: “The film will highlight the high standards we have set in the design and construction of Riverside House and which will be continued in our future developments.
“Those standards reflect the demands and expectations of today’s students, and in particular their parents, who expect their sons and daughters to live in hotel-class accommodation while they enjoy their higher education.”
Portergate is building an enviable reputation for developing high-class, purpose-built student accommodation with more than 500 rooms ready to open, under construction or with planning consent across the North West.
Karen Preece, managing director of Portergate, says: “Riverside House highlights our total commitment to quality in everything we do.
“The levels of service are superior to other schemes and our residents and their parents recognise that.
“As a company and management team we are very passionate about what we do and our aim is to provide quality, well-maintained accommodation that is attractive to students from the UK and overseas.”
