Spooky fun at Riverside House

Halloween celebrations proved a monster hit at student accommodation provider’s Riverside House in Salford.  Students and staff got into the party spirit as the boutique-style accommodation’s reception area was transformed for some spooky fun.  Ghoulishly clever fancy dress was the order of the day for Riverside’s ‘trick or treaters’, as our pictures here reveal.

Eric Wright wins contract for £18m Friargate scheme

Portergate Properties has appointed the construction firm to an £18m regeneration project in Preston city centre, which will deliver retail units and student accommodation.

The 1.5-acre brownfield site will see the construction of a 253-bedroom building in a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments, with two retail units on the ground floor. Portergate said the development was aimed at providing boutique hotel-style accommodation to students at the nearby University of Central Lancashire.

Eric Wright Construction Appointed to £18m Friargate Regeneration Project

Portergate Properties has appointed Eric Wright Construction to deliver the ambitious mixed-use development.

The appointment follows Portergate’s pledge to utilise the skills of as many local companies as possible on the landmark scheme, which will be the biggest building project in the city.

Eric Wright clinches £18m Preston student halls

Developer Portergate Properties has signed up contractor Eric Wright to start on a £18m regeneration project in the Friargate area of Preston.  The scheme will see a run-down 1.5 acre site developed to create two new retail premises and a 253 bedroom, hotel-style accommodation for students at the nearby University of Central Lancashire.
