Riverside House On Course To Welcome First Residents
The first students are set to move into Riverside House, the newest luxury accommodation serving Manchester and Salford’s student population.
September 16 is the date set for the completion of the building and when the first residents will be able to move into their state-of-the-art halls of residence.
Riverside House is the first major student accommodation building to be delivered by Portergate Property Holdings and is a purpose-built hotel-class scheme with 242 en-suite bed and study rooms.
Anthony Jackson, Chairman of Portergate, said: “Construction is nearing the end and the builders will be handing over the best student accommodation in Salford by September 16.
“This is a fantastic building offering facilities that are in a class of their own for the new student intake.
“We are still taking bookings as we have some rooms still to let and we welcome enquiries from parents and students both from the UK and overseas.
“We know that once word gets around the campuses about how great Riverside House is we will have a flood of enquiries and we are well set to accommodate them.”
Riverside House has a great location alongside the River Irwell on the Broughton Bridge. It is close to the University of Salford, the emerging and exciting Greengate Quarter of the city and within minutes of the heart of Manchester.
A stylish show apartment is open on site and includes a fully-furnished living space and fitted kitchen complete with high-quality appliances, including a dishwasher. En-suite bedrooms are also fully furnished and have dedicated super-fast wi-fi internet.
Security and service are paramount at Riverside House. It will have a day time House Manager, 24-hour security and dedicated maintenance. For personal security, each floor and all rooms are accessed by swipe card.
