Delivering continuity of service as standard

Continuity and high standards are the hallmark of the management ethos at Riverside House.

The team at Riverside, many of whom have been with Portergate Property Management from the very beginning, prides itself on delivering excellent customer service – it’s one of the reasons why students are flocking to enjoy its boutique hotel-style accommodation.

And to help Portergate continue to achieve that level of care 24/7 it has strengthened the team with the appointment of its latest member. Hannah Gronan has joined the student accommodation’s staff as concierge.

Hannah has all the attributes that makes Portergate staff stand out – providing the friendly help and support for students which have become their hallmarks.

She is well equipped to deal with any problems students may have after spending time developing her skills as a customer service advisor at a housing association based in Oldham.

Her skills and experience include dealing with tenants and customers queries, general housekeeping, promoting and filling vacancies, identifying and reporting maintenance and repairs.

Hannah is a qualified first aider and holds a NVQ Level 2 Qualification for Delivering Excellent Customer Service.

And the clear staff development plan at Portergate will see Hannah promoted to Accommodation Supervisor in the New Year.

Karen Preece, managing director of Portergate Property Management, says much of the Riverside success story is down to the hand-picked multi-lingual staff that operates to such high standards.
